GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES GROUP, INC. RESULTS OF FINAL MERCURY EMISSIONS TESTING

MAY 15, 2012, Sarasota, Florida.   Global Technologies Group, Inc. (GTGP.PK) presents summary report dated today for the last series of Mercury emissions testing completed by MSE Technology Applications, Inc. which was conducted to determine if any acid gases, NOX or SOX will be generated using MBS with compressed air in the test system and update on MSE Acquisition.

.

NOx, SOx and Acid Gas Testing

The same mercury test apparatus was used to run tests that will determine if a mercury laden gas stream that flowed through a reaction column packed with Molecular Bonding System (MBS) or MBS and powdered activated carbon (PAC) would generate any NOx, SOx, or acid gasses in the off gas.

Three tests have been run to date with different treatment mixtures in the reaction column:

  • one with a 10% MBS and 90% PAC mixture;
  • one with a 7.5% MBS and 92.5% PAC mixture; and
  • one with 100% MBS.

The compressed air flow rate for each test was 0.5 Liters/minute (L/m) with approximately 17% moisture content. The two MBS and PAC mixture tests were run for 1 hour and gas samples were collected in tedlar bags every 20 minutes. The 100% MBS test was run for 3 hours and gas samples were collected in tedlar bags every hour.

A Semsidyne Gastec Pump was used to collect gas samples from each of the tedlar bag samples. The tedlar bag samples were tested using Gastec tubes for NOx, SOx, sulfuric and nitric acid and the off gas samples tested showed zero concentration for NOx, SOx, sulfuric and nitric acid. This final testing was to quantify that MBS mixed with Mercury gasses mixed with PAC or stand alone does not increase the acid content of the stack gases. This was an important test for the industry as they will not use any product, system or additive if NOx or SOx is increased.

“The final two part validated Mercury emissions report will be part of the data that will be presented to the Portland Cement Association, EPA and other agencies of the government here in the United States and abroad. This convergence of new EPA and State regulations for Mercury, NOx, Sox and the benefits of using MBS is the culmination of years of pursuing both our business plan and the humanitarian concerns we have for the inhabitants of planet Earth. I am pleased that now; we are in position to alleviate airborne toxins generated by power and cement plants on a Global basis. We are currently in discussions with large companies that are currently working on technologies for NOx and SOx removal and in conjunction with MBS ,the plants will be able to meet the requirements for all three at once.” Stated James Fallacaro, President.

Update on MSE acquisition:

We are sending our technical advisors to the MSE facilities on Thursday the 17th of May for a complete review of the entire plant, labs and buildings to assess the capital costs to bring it up to a modern world class facility. Our management advisor will be on site on June 4th to assess what changes in personnel management may be needed and review the technical reports as well.   www.mse-ta.com

Cement Plant Mercury Emissions Testing Using MBS

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will implement new mercury emissions regulations in 2013 and many cement plants will not be able to meet the more stringent regulations. Some of these cement plants have installed powdered activated carbon (PAC) systems in an attempt to reduce mercury emissions to comply with the new regulations. However, mercury emissions have not been reduced enough to meet the new regulations at some of the plants.

Global Technologies Group, Inc. (Global) contracted MSE Technology Applications, Inc. (MSE) to perform a series of tests to determine if Molecular Bonding System (MBS), a metals treatment agent, can reduce mercury concentrations within a moist gas stream at elevated temperatures. MBS has historically been used to bond with metals in contaminated soils and has also been previously tested to reduce mercury emissions in a power plant with success.

Four tests were conducted using MBS, PAC and a mixture of MBS and PAC as the treatment agents to reduce mercury concentrations in a flow-through test apparatus. A picture of the test apparatus is shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1. Mercury test apparatus.

The reaction column was packed with denstone, glass wool, and 10 grams of the treatment agent(s) and placed on top of the reaction flask after the system was brought to temperature. The reaction flask contained approximately 5 milliliters (mL) of elemental mercury. Nitrogen flow was initiated at 0.5 Liters per minute (L/min) and allowed to flow through the water flask into the mercury flask and up the reaction column through the treatment agent(s). The water flask was heated to 130°F to produce ~ 17% moisture in the system and the mercury flask and reaction column were heated to 250°F to mimic typical cement bag house temperatures.

Test 1 used 100% PAC with a 17% moisture content.

Test 2 used 100% MBS with 17% moisture content.

Test 3 used 90% PAC and 10% MBS with 17% moisture content.

Test 4 used 100% MBS without any moisture in the system.

The tests were all run for the same period of time, using the same gas flow rate, and the same temperatures to produce similar mercury concentrations within the mercury flask and reaction column. After the tests were completed, the reaction column was removed from the mercury flask and the treatment agent(s) were removed, mixed, split into samples and submitted to the MSE Analytical Laboratory for mercury analysis using EPA, SW-846 Method 7471. Table 1 shows the test details and mercury concentration levels for the samples submitted.

Since the cement plant currently uses PAC to reduce mercury emissions,

Test # 1 was designed to be the baseline test and used only PAC in the reaction column. The PAC removed an average of 96 mg/Kg of mercury from the vapor phase in the test system.

Test # 2 used only MBS in the reaction column and the average mercury reduction was 501 mg/Kg, indicating that MBS can remove more than five times the amount of mercury than the PAC

Test # 3 used a combination of 90% PAC and 10% MBS and that combination of materials removed an average of 230 mg/Kg from the vapor phase of the test system. Test # 3 results indicate that the 10% addition of MBS to the PAC can remove more than twice as much mercury than the PAC.

Test # 4 was conducted to determine if MBS could reduce mercury concentrations in a dry environment, which could represent an upset condition at the cement plant. The results for Test # 4 show that MBS in a dry environment removed an average of 398 mg/Kg of mercury from the test system. The average amount of mercury that was removed from each test was plotted and that graph is presented in Figure 2.

Figure 2. Average mercury concentrations.

The testing indicates that MBS can remove elemental mercury vapor from a hot nitrogen gas phase. Testing is being conducted to determine if any acid gases, NOX or SOX will be generated using MBS with compressed air in the test system.

GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES GROUP, INC. FINAL RESULTS OF CEMENT PLANT TECHNICAL MEETINGS

February 21, 2012, Sarasota, Florida.  Global Technologies Group, Inc. (GTGP.PK) Global announces after technical and onsite discussions between MSE Technology Applications engineers and the chemical and operational engineers of the cement plant last week we have all agreed to use the IFS2C process to inject IFS2C directly into the stack gasses for reduction treatment and removal of Mercury. This decision allows Global to use this process, which was successful in the treatment of Mercury in power plants in the past, to make it more efficient to be utilized by all cement plants without any major retrofit to existing plants.

We have set aside two weeks in March, when the cement plant begins operation after the winter closure, to start a hot three day run in their system with both the MSE engineers and the engineers present at the plant as the final step for contract negotiations.

This cement plant is a member of the Portland Cement Association and will share all information with the association and all operators of cement plants as well.

“This not only gives Global the ability to move quickly on each project in a much shorter timeframe but also enables Global to provide the members of the association the validation for their use and the results will also have a further impact on our plans for India, China and Singapore,” stated James Fallacaro President.

Global Technologies Group, Inc. Status of Cement Plant and Share Distribution

SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/09/12 -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) (Global) announces that we are in the final stages of review and our technology sub-contractor MSE is now arranging for a complete walk through of the plant in conjunction with the plant's engineers for pressure measurements, flow systems and insertion point of MBS. We have determined all the measures and needs for retrofitting the plant in order to meet their goals as well as Global's goal of negotiating a contract for that project. Previous testing of MBS™ for the Mercury contaminated carbon from that plant after treating with MBS has been reduced to zero. Once the review of the retrofit is approved, we are confident we will be able to come to financial terms with the plant for this contract. Global is positive that we have the best technology (MBS) and with our joint venture partners have the expertise to fulfill this important milestone and the first of many cement plants that we believe will be the benchmark for the cement industry and enter into similar contracts as well.

Global has now received the NOBO/OBO lists of all shareholders as well as the shareholders list from its transfer agent Pacific Stock Transfer for the effective date of December 24, 2011. We have requested and received an additional NOBO/OBO and transfer agent report for Friday the 30th of December to make sure those shareholders that purchased by close of business on the 23rd will be counted for the share distribution in the event the NOBO list does not show the holders who have purchased by the 23rd. We now have the Transfer agent preparing the mailings and the appropriate forms for share distribution. For each share of Global held as of the record date, shareholders will receive one share of Global Technology Holdings, Inc., a company that was formed specifically for the purpose of acquisitions.

Global Technologies Group, Inc. Concludes Successful Technical Discussions for Implementation of the MBS(TM) Process for Cement Plant

SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 10/31/11 -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) (Global), its partner company MSE Technology Applications (MSE) and the personnel from the plant have concluded the final technical discussions for the retrofit and implementation of the MBS technology for the removal of mercury from the emissions and for the disposal of the mercury treated wastes. Global and MSE have identified the procedures to be put into place that will benefit not only our company but it will also reduce the cost of disposal for the plants as well by rendering the waste nonhazardous for disposal at a regular waste site. This process will enable cement plants to meet the new EPA regulations that state all cement plants in this country must meet the new standards no later than 2013 or be shut down. The cement plant we are dealing with has agreed to the following:

It is sending MSE the mercury saturated material for testing to determine the appropriate mixture of MBS to render the material nonhazardous and meet the EPA requirements... Once the proper mixture is established, MSE and Global will proceed with a full live run at the plant itself. This project and all others in this industry will give Global long term contracts as it will need the technology and the MBS chemicals on a continuous basis for the life of the plants. "I now believe that this will be the benchmark for all cement plants in this country. It should be noted that MBS has been successfully tested in a large commercial power plant and was successful in removing Mercury from flue gasses to meet the EPA guidelines. To that end, our licensor was paid 2.1 million dollars for the specific use of MBS in power plants alone," stated James Fallacaro, President.

Global Technologies Group, Inc. Shareholder Update

SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 10/17/11 -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) reports full status update of the company's pending contracts, ventures and questions from shareholders.

UPDATES:

The cement plant retrofit for removal of mercury from Flu gas:
Global, its partner company MSE Technology Applications (MSE) and the personnel from the plant will have the final technical discussions scheduled for this week. Upon conclusion of the discussions, Global and MSE will make arrangements for a trip to the facility to review the plans for the retrofit of the facility. This is an important step for Global as if it is completed and successful, it will be the benchmark for all cement plants in this country. It should be noted that MBS has been successfully tested in a large commercial power plant and was successful in removing Mercury from flu gasses.

Army contract:
Global and MSE have been asked to prepare a cost analysis and the environmental impact of utilizing MBS /M2 as opposed to capping hazardous waste, which we begin next week depending on the information needed to do assessment.

Naval Contract Award:
Global and MSE have been contacted by the Navy department regarding the 100 million dollar remediation contract and have been told that they are still reviewing the proposals and did not give us a time frame yet. They are running behind as the award date was supposed to be September 19, 2011. We are confident when the contract proposals are complete that both MSE and Global will be participating as the companies in the proposal submissions that would be chosen are companies that both MSE and M2 polymer have current contracts with or have worked with them in the past.

Waste Management Conference:
We will be placing the written technical paper on our website that will be presented to the Waste Management Conference upon its completion. It should be noted that the committee for review has placed the presentation by MSE of the new technology developed by Global/ M2 Polymer at the forefront of the conference.

New business:
We have been in negotiations for sub licenses with two companies in two different countries: One for the MSE technologies and one for the MBS technology. We feel that we are at a point where we are confident they will close within four weeks.

Creation of Sub:
We have had many calls regarding the sub we formed and our intentions for it.
The sub company is Global Technology Holdings, Inc. We had disclosed that formation in the past. It was created to be the vehicle that would handle acquisitions and funding. It was in our interest to do so as, in our opinion, no Investment Banker of any substance would fund an acquisition of any size with a small publicly traded company. The benefits of the new sub would be twofold: To allow the Investment Banker to fund it by way of a Private Placement and then a selling shareholder registration statement. In addition, it would allow that company to issue the balance of the percentage to Global Shareholders in the amount of equity held. If Global was to receive all the shares remaining from the placement, it would be deemed to be and insider or full control and therefore the shares would become restricted. Therefore, this was a way for Global and its shareholders to participate directly in the selling shareholder registration. It should be noted that in either event, the percentage that Global would own directly as a company will still be classified as an insider and may still be classified as control predicated on its equity percentage as well as James Fallacaro, President.

Financials
We have filed the 10K and the 10Q for the year 2007 and are still awaiting comment regarding the correctness and changes that were made. We are waiting for the response and as of Friday have not received any written directives.

As discussed in a previous release, Global will not comment on the potential acquisition until both companies have reached a final determination for a closing.

Global Technologies Group, Inc. Receives Confirmation of Approval by the Army 3rd Corp and Council of Colonels Fort Hood for Mercury Removal From Working Power Plants

SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 07/20/11 -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) Global is pleased to announce that negotiations with the U.S. military through its agent, retired Colonel Sandy Pogue, to infuse the IFS-2c technology for mercury and other metals remediation systems into working power plants located at Forts Hood and Fort Bliss in order to document the cost effectiveness associated with mercury removal from coal burning power plants stacks and reconfirm the remediation of the contaminated ash by-product. The process to integrate the system into the power plants has already been approved by the Council of Colonels at (Fort Hood), and the Army 3rd Core. Final approval is currently in the hands of Forscom Headquarters. Colonel Pouge has already informed us that Preferred Customer listings with all the branches of the Military are being activated and all energy related products and processes will be attributed to Global and its joint venture partner East Morgan Holdings, Inc.

"As one of the many uses for the MBS/IFS-2c technologies Global has been exploring and pursuing, we continue to expand the range of both government and military opportunities available for our technology. This confirmation from the military is another step in executing our business plan," said James Fallacaro, President.

Additional updates for the Navy Contracts, Sawgrass project and the cement plant negotiations discussed in previous press releases will be released in the very near term.

Global Technologies Group, Inc. Has Completed a Complete Review of Solicitation for Department of the Navy Remediation Projects

SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 07/13/11 -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) Global and its partner companies have reviewed, over the last few weeks, the solicitation program for remediation projects and evaluated all "interested parties" submissions. As the submissions are for any company that has the appropriate Department of Defense validation codes and clearances in specific areas of technology and for most large projects that do not have the ability to cover all types of remediation, they will need to utilize sub-contractors for specific remediation treatment uses. The major companies that are in this list will act as the general contractors.

We have found that several of the largest "interested parties" are companies that have been or are currently working on projects with and have direct relationships with M2 Polymer and MSE Technologies.

In reviewing Globals strategy, the group has decided it is in their best business interests to send the compiled information on Global, M2 and MSE to the companies that we have ongoing relationships with. This strategy enables us to bypass the normal solicitation as a standalone general contractor and deal specifically on the technologies controlled by us and allows us to deal directly with the companies in advance of the contract awards.

As our group has the most outstanding technologies in most areas of remediation, hazardous and low level nuclear waste with previous and ongoing projects with the department of Defense, Department Of Energy and all the necessary clearances for work to be done on sensitive restricted sites, we feel confident that we will be part of any projects awarded. This same strategy will also apply in the event there are several companies chosen for various projects within the scope of the submission.

We will be providing updates on the status of our plan with the companies as it unfolds.

A Joint Venture with M2 Polymer, its licensor covering the new validated use of the combined MBS and M2 process for all uses for the single application of the mixture for dewatering and heavy metals remediation. The terms of the Joint Venture are that Global and M2 have agreed to split 50/50 percent of the net profits on all projects requiring that specific use.

Global and Solucorp Industries, its licensor for the MBS technology for heavy metals remediation, has agreed to a Joint Venture for that specific use of the new mixture of MBS/M2 for all types of projects not covered under the original exclusive license grant and it will be 50 percent of net proceeds received by Global. Global's original license is for Brown Fields designated lands, Superfunds, reclamation and redevelopment.

A second Joint Venture agreement with Solucorp covers all applications of the MBS technology use with the exclusion of energy related projects. This JV will give Solucorp 50% of the net proceeds for any projects incorporating the MBS technology and does not affect the original exclusive license agreement Global was issued.

"With the addition of the East Morgan Holdings (EMHI) agreement for the IFS technologies, it gives Global a tremendous extension of depth and reach in the fields of remediation and in the treatment of heavy metals in other industries as well. It should be noted that Global has the exclusive distribution, reseller and purchasing agent agreements with M2 and MSE technology Applications as well," stated Jim Fallacaro, President.

Global Technologies Group, Inc. Reports Combined Joint Testing of MBS Technology in Conjunction With M2 Polymer Technologies, Inc. Successful

Mar. 29, 2011 (Marketwire) --

SARASOTA, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 03/29/11 -- Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) has received verification and final validation from MSE Technologies Applications on the successful completion of testing on dual use treatability of contaminated soils with combination of MBS and M2 Polymer technologies.

The final optimum percentages were calculated and the dual treatment final testing for TCLP was initiated. The application of the proper mixtures was added to the spiked baseline soil samples and was submitted for TCLP analysis on March 11, 2011. On March 28, 2011, Global and M2 were notified that the TCLP results of the combination of both chemicals used can definitely perform simultaneous treatment on heavy metals for dewatering and remediation.

"This important final verification of the dual use formulation which encompasses two EPA proven technologies will enable both companies to penetrate a substantial government and private sector market which will uniquely enable us to take advantage of the combined technologies for major remediation projects and enable each company to expand their penetration of both heavy metal and dewatering cleanup capabilities. To my knowledge, this new treatment represents the first time a polymer compound and the MBS chemical combination have been tested successfully and is the first combined formulation to be used for heavy metal/dewatering remediation," said James Fallacaro, President.
